Question:
If a transmission cooler is placed IN FRONT of the AC and radiator for maximum efficiency, does it not reduce the amount of air traveling through those two items and thus decrease the cooling efficiency of the AC and more importantly, the radiator and make the engine run hotter?

Expert Reply:
The transmission cooler is designed so air flows through it and back into the AC and radiator. It does add an extra layer but the effect is so minimal is does not make the engine run hotter.
