What Size Wire is Recommended for Use in the Electrical Quick Connect for Electric Winches

What size wiring can be used with this quick connect? Thanks!

Expert Reply:

Normally 6 gauge wire is used for winch wiring applications. If your application does not require the high amperage draw that a winch requires then you could use 8 gauge wire in the connector tips. Any smaller wire than that would most likely not stay in the tips too well after soldering.
