Troubleshooting Hoppy Plug-n-Tow Harness with no Right Turn Signals on a 2006 Chevy Colorado

Question:

I have power coming into the converter from both leds but nothing coming out of the right turn green signal wire. The other yellow, brown are working. Is the converter gone?

Expert Reply:

The best way to determine if the converter is damaged is to check the wires right at the box. Using a circuit tester, like part #3808, probe the green wire just ahead of the box. If it does not have power, then the wiring may have come loose in the connectors or inside the taped wires. If it does have power, check the green wire on the other side of the converter. If this one does not have power, then the converter could be bad.
