Does the cradle size accomodate bikes with wider frames tube diameter? We have hybrids and our son has a mountain bike.

Expert Reply:

I spoke with my contact at Softride, the manufacturer, and he said that the cradle will support frames no larger than 3 inches in diameter. If your bikes have a frame diameter less 3 inches then they will fit on the Softride Element Parallelogram Tilting 4 Bike Rack, # SR26248. I have included a link to the instructions below.
