Finding the Brake Pedal Wire for a 2003 Chevy S-10 Crew Cab

Question:

I have run all the wires from the back to the front of my 2003 Chevy S-10 I also Ran the wires inside for Power Break controller and the Ground .... My only problem is i can not find which wire to connect the red break wire to. Searched on Google for days with no luck finding a diagram for the wires that come off the break pedal. Any help would be appricated.

Expert Reply:

You will have to use a circuit tester to find the wire carrying a signal when the brake pedal is engaged. We have the Quickee Circuit Tester, # 3808. Once you have found the correct wire, splice the red wire to the wire carrying the signal using a quick splice and you will be done. I have linked a video below. At the 6 minute, 20 second mark, we show how to test for the correct brake circuit wire needed. It will be similar on your S-10.
