i really like this model but i am worried that the plastic that holds the bikes in position will give to soon. is there any way to replace the straps in the future if i need to?

Expert Reply:

Yes. We offer replacement straps and cradles should you need them in the future. The straps are Softride Replacement Rubber Bike Straps, # SR25869. It comes with 4 straps. The cradles are Softride Anti-Sway Cradle, # SR26135, and comes with 1 cradle. The cradles will probably last longer than the straps but you never know if you will end up needing one. I have included some videos of the bike rack below.
