Kuat Platform Bike Rack or Other 3 Bike Rack for a 1988 Toyota Minivan

Question:

I have a Toyota 1988 minivan with a 1 1/4 hitch and would like something like the Kuat S101, but for three bikes. I prefer the lightweight aluminum platform design. This would be for two adult sized bikes plus a 20 for a grandkid. Does Kuat make a 3 bike version of the S101?

None of the platform bike racks that fit a 1-1/4 inch hitch will hold more than 2 bikes. We do not have a higher capacity hitch available for a 1988 Toyota Minivan, but you can use a hitch mounted rack like the Swagman Trailhead, S63365. This rack will fit in your hitch, is rated for a Class I hitch, will hold 3 bikes, and it will fold down to give you better access to the rear of the vehicle.
