Hub, Mounting Flange and Brake Assembly Recommendation for BTR EZ Lube Spindle TRU44FR
Question:
is TRU44FR spindle the proper spindle to use with 8-173-16UC3 drum and as well is 4-34 the proper flange to mount the brake panels 23-48 and 23-47 with. I know the spindle should work with the 4 on 4 ez lube brake drum hub but want the full metal grease caps, and this looks to be the only spindle listed with the proper bearing and seal diameters. building a walking beam atv trailer and feel the metal grease cabs will be better through mud and abuse.

All of the parts you listed are compatible with each other and would be the correct ones for you to use. The BTR EZ Lube Spindle part # TRU44FR is the correct spindle to use with the Trailer Hub & Drum Assembly # 8-173-16UC3.
The brake assemblies # 23-48 and # 23-47 are also compatible with this hub and the correct mounting flange that will work with all parts mentioned is the # 4-34.
