Note 1 advises that the grill will have to be removedis the grill then replaced with holes cut out for the hitch? What if any accessories are required to hook up to a Blue Ox tow bar? Thanks

Yes, typically that is what that means. In the case of some vehicles there may be metal grilles inside the fascia for cooling intakes or engine intakes that have to be removed as that is where the base plate sits.The adapter depends on which Blue Ox Tow bar you have. Chances are you will need adapter part # RM-032. If you have the Blue Ox Rangefinder tow bar, you will need adapter part # RM-037.
