Question:

I read in the installation info sent to me that there is a special wiring config used on Ford trucks due to the ABS system. Is there the same problem with wiring into my Frontier ABS as the Fords?

Expert Reply:

There is no issue with installing the Prodigy brake controller # 90185 on your 2004 Nissan Frontier with anti-lock brakes.

The 1989 through 1991 Ford models have an issue with tapping into the stop wire coming directly off of the brake switch, but this is not the case for your Frontier.

I have included a link to some additional information on wiring for a brake controller, if needed.
