Question:

Do I still need the 20264 adaptor to use a Tekonsha Prodigy with my 2007 Silverado Classic that has the trailering/towing package, and includes a Z82 wiring adaptor that plugs into the electrical box above the drivers left foot, and has 5 wires on it?

Yes, if you already have the Prodigy brake controller # 90185 and are simply wanting to move it to your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, you will need to use the brake control wiring adapter # 20264.

If you have not yet purchased the brake controller, ordering kit # 90185-3015P would include the brake controller and the correct, plug-in adapter application for your truck.
