Can Reese Hitch RP30047 Be Used with the Elite Series Mount Kit RP30073

The Reese Fifth Wheels, part # RP30047 and part # RP30047A, are not Elite Series hitches. They will not bolt to the Elite Series legs or sliders.

You can use the RP30047A head, with other legs or a slider, on your 2005 Ford Super Duty, but it will not be an under bed mount system. You will have rails in the bed.

If you do not want rails in your bed, you would have to use an Elite Series hitch and mount kit.

In order to use the RP30047A head, you would need legs, part # RP30727, or a slider if you have a 6 foot bed, part # RP30092 or part # RP50008.

If you wanted to use an Elite Series with the under bed mount, you would use mount kit part # RP30073 and hitch part # RP30144 for a 6 foot bed.
