Question:
Will the RBW X16 slider 5th wheel hitch work with the Reese custom installation kit with brackets and rails? and Will product number 50041-6008 work with a 2009 GMC 2500 4x4? If so, after installation, if I wanted to purchase a Reese hitch, would it fit into the rails or would I have to move the rails?

Part # RP50064-58 will fit your 2009 Sierra. These install kits are manufactured by Reese and are compatible with Reese fifth wheel hitches.
I spoke with my contact at Reese and the tabs for the pins at the feet of the fifth wheel should be 22 inches, center to center, from front to back. Side to side should be 29 inches, center to center. He checked, and the RBW-X16 should be those measurements. I would double check your hitch to make sure.
