How is the Shank and Head Supposed to be Oriented on the Curt Multi-Ball D900

Question:

Which side up does this D900 go into the hitch? Really it could slide in both ways, just want to make sure i dont put it in wrong. On the picture the screw end is facing up, if you flip it around the screw would be facing the bottom.

Expert Reply:

I spoke with Curt Mfg. and the the shank can be flipped, but the receiver portion or head must be oriented with the bolt and welded braces on top.
