Installation Tips When Installing Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit, Part # FHDPB330301

Question:

what kind of bit would you recommend for holes on fold way coupler-bolt on-and would a hack saw cut tounge of trailer? basiaclly what tools are neccesary for bolt on device?

Any drill bit designed for drilling through metal will work, although tungsten carbide bits are the best (although pricey). Here are a few tips for drilling through metal. Start with a small bit, drill a pilot hole and switch to an intermediate sized bit, followed by the final diameter. Drill at a slow speed, while applying steady pressure.

I suppose you could use a hacksaw to cut your trailer tongue, but it would take quite some time and many, many blades. Your best bet would be to use a reciprocating saw or an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel installed on it.
