Will the Bully Tailgate Lock # LH-003 Lock a Tailgate that Does Not Have an OEM Lock

Question:

I need yo know if I can lock my tailgate on my truck that does not have a keyed lock on it already? Also how easy is it to install if at all possible. I have a 2004 Silverado 2500HD LS

Yes, you will be able to lock the tailgate on your truck with the Integrated OEM Tailgate Lock - 1999-2007 GM Full Size Pickups, item # LH-003. This lock installs easily and locks the handle to keep the tailgate from being opened.
