You will need to check to see which Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs are on your truck. If you have the system that mounts on the outside of the frame rail, like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Kit, item # F2071, a fifth-wheel installation kit will not work. If you have the air spring system that mounts on the inside of the frame rail, like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Kit, item # F2398, will work with the # RP50082-58 installation kit.

You may have to drill one hole in the installation brackets or replace one bolt in each side of the fifth-wheel install kit with the bolt from the Ride Rite air springs. If this is the case, with the inside the rail kit, you will need to consult the fifth-wheel instructions to be sure you use the correct size and grade bolts.
