Question:

I was wondering if the Reese Weight Distribution 350 Mini is the right system for a 2007 Honda Odyessey pulling a Chalet Arrowhead? The trailer tongue is an A-frame with two batteries and two propane tanks on it.

You will need to do some measuring to determine if the 350 Mini will work on your trailer or not. The brackets that the spring bars set is will need to be installed at 28 inches from the center of the hitch ball. If you have open frame in this area then the 350 mini will work fine for your trailer. If you do not have room for the brackets on the frame you may have to consider a weight distribution system that has adjustable brackets like the High Performance Reese SC Weight Distribution System, 600 lbs. TW / 10,000 lbs. GTW, item # RP66151. I have posted instructions for these systems for you to review.

Question:

Thanks for all your help. Looks like if any of the units might fit it would be the 66152. When I measure back from the center of the ball along each side of the A-frame, the space between the propane tank mount and the battery mount starts at about 26-3/4 inch back and is slightly more than 1-1/2 inch wide. I can easily fit a 1-1/2 inch by 3/4 inch piece of wood in the space on the inside (more on the outside). Would this be big enough to fit the mounting plate into and is the spacing too far back from the ball? Also, is there a list of what comes with the kit and maybe dimensions? Thanks again for all the help.

I went out to the warehouse and measured the frame brackets for you. They are 2 inches wide by 1/2 inch thick. These can be installed anywhere between 18 and 30 inches from the center of the hitch ball. It sounds like it will work, as long as the hanger will fit. You said 1-1/2 inches easily so I would check to be sure the 2 inch piece will fit in that location.
