Which Weight Distribution and Sway Control System for a 7,500 Pound Trailer Behind Dodge Ram 1500
Question:
I have a 97 Ram 1500 and will be pulling a 2010 Springdale 28 with a tongue weight of 675 and a GTW of 7500 lbs. What product do you recomend?

The High Performance Reese SC Weight Distribution System, part # RP66153, would work just fine with your trailer. Your tongue weight fits just under the tongue weight capacity of the system which means it will not be too stiff of a ride, nor would you max out the system. Your trailer weight is also under the limit of the WD system.
If sway is a big problem, I usually suggest using a weight distribution system that uses a dual cam sway control system versus a friction like part # RP66087. However, if sway is not much of a problem, the friction system you were looking at would be fine.
