What Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier will fit a Jeep Patriot with a 1-1/4 Inch Hitch

Question:

Im concerned over the fit of this cargo carrier on my Jeep Patriot. 6.25 from pin to tray rails may be too short. Are there any success stories for placement on a Patriot? Photos?

At this time we do not have any actual photos of any cargo carriers being used on a Jeep Patriot. If you decide to order one we would love to receive a picture of it on your Patriot! If you already have a hitch on the Jeep you can measure from the hitch pin hole out 6 1/4 inches to see where the edge of the 52017 carrier will start and if it is enough room.

We do offer other carriers that have a longer shank and provide more distance between the hitch pin hole and the edge of the carrier. If your receiver hitch is a Class II, check out part # 59507 from Rola which offers about 13 inches and part # 63155 from Tow Ready which offers 11 inches.
