You could use the Thule Ride-On Adapter, item # TH532, on top of your factory cross bars to extend the height 1-1/2 inches.

If this is not enough clearance for your bindings you could use the Yakima FatCat # Y03078, which has brackets that can be attached to one side of the carrier, to provide clearance for bindings. When you are not carrying the snowboards this system allows you to remove the bracket so items can be carried in the flat position.

We also have the Thule Snowboard Rack, item # TH575, which will carry the snowboards at an upright angle so that bindings will clear, if you only need to carry two snowboards.
