Items Needed to Install Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller, Part # 39510 on 2003 Ford Expedition

Question:

2003 expedition with 7 wire tow package to pull a new 24 ft t trailerby thor.want to use tekonsa voyager -39510what do i need and does it have a manual override switch /slide ?

Expert Reply:

In addition to the brake controller, you will also need the wiring adapter, part # 20260. This adapter will wire to the controller wiring color for color and then plug into the connector under the dash. The connector is located under the dash to the right of the steering column, near the diagnostic port.
The Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller does feature a sliding manual override switch, located under the front of the unit.
