Will T-One Harness for a Jeep Grand Cherokee Affect the Vehicle On-Board Diagnostics

Question:

part # 118425. Does this affect the on board diagnostics? Does this draw current directly from the tail-light connectors? They are monitored for burned out or shorted bulbs

The custom T-One harness for the Grand Cherokee does not affect the vehicle on-board diagnostics. The harness pulls power for the trailer lights from the same source that provides power for the vehicle tail lights. The system will still monitor the Jeep tail lights for burned bulbs or shorts.
