Does Surco Cargo Carrier Part # 52018 Fold and Is There a Cover Available For It

Hitch Cargo Carrier - Flat Carrier 2 Inch Hitch Folding Carrier

Question:

Does the cargo carrier fold up when not in use? Is there a cover that fits over this model while it is in use? This looks very similar to the SportRack Model A30850 folding hitch basket except it may be slightly longer, but this one folds up. Is there a cover that fits over this model while it is in use?

The Surco 24X60 Cargo Carrier, part # 52018, does not fold. The SportRack 20X60 Folding Cargo Carrier, part # A30850, does fold, but it is smaller in size by 4 inches. Take measurements of what ever cargo you will be hauling on the carrier to decide if you need the larger size. We do have one 24X60 Folding Cargo Carrier from Surco and that is part # 52018F. I have also included a link to all the Folding Cargo Carriers that we carry.

We have several cargo carrier bags that will fit on any of the above carriers and protect your cargo. The bags are soft-sided so they will accommodate any size carrier.
