How to Install Tekonsha Prodigy Part # 90185 on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

Your 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD should have a port underneath the dash for a brake controller plug. There is a wire harness, part # 3015-P, that will plug into the back of the Tekonsha Prodigy and into the port underneath the dash eliminating the need to cut or splice wires. It would be plug and play. Since the vehicle is already set up for a brake controller, if you use the brake controller port you will not need to add a circuit breaker. It is built in to the trucks fuse block.
