Installation of the 5th Wheel Rails, item # RP30035, in the bed of your 1988 Ford F150 Pickup will begin with the positioning of the rear rail 32-1/2 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed. This location may need to be adjusted 1/2 inch forward or rearward to eliminate interference with the bed sills. Specific instructions for your vehicle can be found on page ten.
