I just wanted to make sure I can use this system on a 2001 Jayco Kiwi 17A trailer with surge brakes?

The SC Weight Distribution System, item # RP66153, does work well on trailers with hydraulic surge brakes. The maximum trailer frame height it works with is 6 inches tall and maximum trailer frame width is 2 inches. If your trailer frame is less than 2 inch wide, spacers will need to be welded into place. The included Shank allows for a 1-1/4 inch Drop or a 6 inch Rise. If needed other weight distribution shanks with different drops, rises and lengths are available.
