Will the Vertical Mighty Mounts Work for a Yakima Ski Rack on Factory Crossbars of a 2007 XC70

Question:

I have a Yakima ski rack that fits my 2002 Honda CRV. I now also have a 2007 Volvo XC70. Both have factory crossbars. However, the cross bars on the CRV are 2 3/4 in wide, and the cross bars on the XC70 are 3 in wide. I would like to use the rack on my XC70, but the mounts dont fit. Which of the vertical mounts will fit a 3 in. crossbar? I note that the mounts are part numbers Y03501. Y03502, etc, up to Y03529. Will one of those work on my 3 in crossbar? Thanks a lot.

You will need the Universal MightyMounts for Yakima Roof Mounted Accessories, item # Y03590, to mount your existing Yakima ski rack on the roof of your 2007 Volvo XC70. These mounts are made to fit many styles of crossbars, my contact at Yakima confirmed that they will work on your 3 inch factory crossbars.
