I am thinking about purchasing a 2010 cougar 276rls. Does this manufacurer accept the sidewinder or will I have warranty issues. thanks

As long as they are installed properly according to the directions, Sidewinders do not void manufacturer warranties. In order to select the proper fitting Sidewinder system, you will need to find what pin box is on the trailer you are looking at. The available Sidewinders fit some pin boxes of the following manufacturers: Fabex, Leland, Lippert, M and M, RBW, Venture and Youngs Welding.
The manufacturer and model number will be stamped somewhere on the pin box of the trailer. You can ask the dealer or seller to find this information for you and check to see if a Sidewinder is available for that particular pin box. I will include a link to our page that shows all the Sidewinder systems we carry. Click on the manufacturer of the pin box, then the model number of the pin box and the results will show the Sidewinders that will fit.
