Compatability of the Thule Speedway 2 Bike Trunk Mounted Carrier with the 2009 Ford Edge

I am sorry but the Thule Speedway 2 Bike Trunk Mounted Carrier, item # TH961XTR is not recommended for your vehicle because the lower straps can not be mounted in a safe place.

Your best option for a two bike rack would most likely be the Hidden Hitch Class III Trailer Hitch, item # 87433, and the Thule Roadway 2 Bike Carrier, item # TH912XT. With the two inch receiver hitch you will have the option to upgrade to a larger bike rack, a cargo carrier or tow a trailer in the future should your needs change.
