Recommendation of Bike Racks for Transporting a Recumbent Bike

The SportRack Escape 3 Bike Rack, item # A30403, is not recommended for recumbent bikes. We do have three models that may work for your recumbent bike. These models will certainly carry one recumbent bike, as long as the wheel base is within the limits of the rack, but may not carry two bikes due to the seat width on recumbent models.

The Swagman XTC2, item # S64670, has a maximum wheel base of 66 inches and accommodates wheel sizes up to 2-1/2 inches wide. The Softride Versa Tilting and Folding 2 Bike Rack, item # SR26249, will accept bikes up to 80 inches overall width and up to 29 inch wheels. The Highland SportWing 2 Bike Rack, item # 5801200, connects to the bike wheels and the arms can be adjusted up to 46 inches apart for installation of the bikes.
