My 2008 Titan came with a elec wiring harness, labeled/colored/function as follows R/G - brk sig B - GND BR/W - BRK OUT R/L - ILL R - FUSED B+ I purchased a Journey HD 52740 with four labeled wires. From my Titan harness what wires do I splice with on the Journey?

To attach your Valley Journey HD 2-8 Electric Brake Controller, item # V52740, to your 2008 Nissan Titan, use a circuit tester, item # 3808 if needed, to verify each of the wires that you have mentioned with the list below for connecting the wires from the controller. R/G, red with green stripe, brake signal goes to the red wire on the brake controller and only has power on it when the brake pedal is pressed. B - GND Black, ground goes to the white wire from the brake controller. BR/W - Brown with white stripe, BRK OUT, goes to the blue wire on the brake controller and provides the brake signal to the trailer brakes. R/L - ILL is an illumination wire that is tied to the taillight signal and will not be used. R-Fused B+ is the power wire to the brake controller from the vehicle and should have power at all times. Again you will need to verify the wires but this should be the proper wiring connections.
