Will Hopkins 7 pole to 6 pole Adapter Fit a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500

This part is made to convert an existing 7 pole to a 6 pole. It is not made to connect to a vehicle specific harness. It will fit any vehicle equipped with a 7 pole. One of the other etrailer.com employees drives a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 and I checked to make sure it fit on his vehicle.

I have included a link to a picture of the back side of the adapter. Please note, there is not a center pin on the back side of the adapter because the part converts a 7 pole to a 6 pole, that center pin is no longer needed. I have also included a link to a page that has a diagram of a 7 pole and 6 pole connector. The adapter removes the center pin, orange wire, from the 7 pole end. Position 4, black wire, on the 7 pole becomes the center pin, pole A, black wire on the 6 pole.
