I have a 2006 chevy suburban equipted w a trailer package, I have the wiring harness to install on to my Tekonsha voyager brake controller. The problem I have is there are 5 wires on the wiring harness and only 4 on the controller. Wiring harness Dk.Blue - trailer brake controller switched outputRed - Fused trailer brake controller battery feedBlack - Brake controller groundLt Blue - Vehicle stop lamp switch to brake controller input Brown - Brake controller illuminationcontroller wires Red, white, blue, and blackplease let me know what wires go where. With your 2006 Suburban, you should have a plug-in port that you can use with part 3015-P so that you do not have to splice wires or use the factory included pigtail. This will simplify the whole installation.
If you do not want to use the plug in harness, the splicing operation is still pretty simple. You would make the following connections.
Truck Wire - Function - Brake Control Wire
Dk. Blue - Brake Ctl Ouptut - Blue
Red - Fused Battery Feed - Black
Black - Brake Ctl Ground - White
Lt Blue - Vehicle Stop Lamp - Red
