Question:

What is the material, and how thick is it for the cargo bag? Am concerned about the durability. Will only be using this in the bed of my pickup truck to carry duffell bags on long rainy trips.

The etrailer.com bag, part # 988501, is made of a very heavy duty PVC coated nylon ripstop material that is rainproof and heavily constructed. These are our best selling cargo bags and customer reviews are great for this item. There is no mention on the packaging or on the bag of the thickness of the material, but I would say that it is thicker than a pair of jeans or even a nice duffel bag for sure.

This bag would work great for transporting duffel bags in the back of your pickup and should last a very long time if taken care of and not left out in the weather for extended periods of time.
