The Draw-Tite front mount hitch part # 65021 fits the Chevy 2500 and 3500 trucks with an 8-lug wheel. Since you have a 1500 series, this hitch will not fit your truck. Do you have the 2000 Chevy Silverado z71 1500? If so, you can use Draw-Tite part # 65023. If you have a 2000 Chevrolet C/K LS with a 6 foot bed, part # 65005 will fit your 1500.
