Question:
I have a trailer small shasta and a Ford explorer sport truck. I am looking for a bick rack that can carry 2 two bikes. Something I can attach to the truck or the two hitch? I would like to keep the back open as I have a top and stor some of my items in that area.

I would recommend either the Valley Trailer Hitch Ball mount with 2 inch Receiver for Bike Racks or Cargo Carriers, item # V75090, or the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2 inch Receiver for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers, item # D210, and the Thule Parkway 2 Bike Hitch Mounted Folding Rack, item # Th958. You will need to keep in mind that the tongue weight for the vehicle hitch and ball mount will need to be kept within the limits of the lowest rated part in the system. This means that the tongue weight of the trailer plus the weight of the bike rack and the bikes cannot exceed the lowest rated part of towing system.
