Expert Reply:

The fuse for your stoplights should be located in the fuse panel under the hood. You will be able to find the location of the brake light fuse by looking under the fuse panel cover or looking in the owners manual for the vehicle.

Your stop lights are carried on the same wires as the turn signals. On the trailer connector the left turn signal/ stop wire should be yellow and the right turn/ stop wire should be green. The brown wire is for the parking lights only.

Make sure all of the wire functions are working properly and connected to the proper wires on the truck and make sure your ground wires are attached to clean solid metal ground points on the trailer and vehicle. This should get you going.
