Will Edge Juice Platinum Need to be Reset Before it can be Used on Another Truck

Question:

I purchased a edge juice platinum from a friend and he had it hooked up to his ford f250. Do i need to restore to factory settings before it will work on my f250?

You will need to hook it back up to his Ford F-250, and re-flash his computer back to stock. When these tuners or programmers are first loaded to a vehicle, they are married to that vehicle, meaning they cannot be used with other vehicles. Once the first vehicle is flashed back to stock, the tuner is un-married and can then be used on another vehicle.

Make sure the part number of the Edge will also work with your truck. For instance, an Edge for a Diesel truck will not work on a gas truck. An Edge for a 6.0 Ford Diesel, will not work with a 7.3 Ford Diesel.
