Expert Reply:

There are 5 wires that will need to be wired to your 2008 Honda Civic at various places. The White wire will need to be attached to a ground point. The other 4 wires, you will use your circuit tester to find out what goes where.

You will disconnect the plugs from the back of your driver and passenger side taillight assemblies. Next test the pins on the plugs that connect to the tail lights to find what wire does what. The Brown wire on the kit is for the tail lights when you turn on your headlights. The Yellow wire is driver side turn signal. The Red wire is for the brake lights. The Green wire is the passenger side turn signal.

I will include a link to a video installing this part on a different vehicle. It should give you an idea of the process as a whole.
