Just wondering if this hitch would be a good choice. Hitch weight 800 to 850 Loaded trailer about 6600 There is about 21 inches of room from ball to where to bracket could be bolted on to the frame. Towing with a half ton

A weight distribution system with sway control is a good idea for towing your trailer with a 1/2 ton pickup. With the V-Nose configuration, and only 21 inches of room, you will not be able to use the High Performance Reese SC Weight Distribution System, item # RP66155. You could use the Strait-Line Weight Distribution Hitch System 1,200 lbs TW / 12,000 lbs GTW, item # 66074, with the Weight Distribution Chain Hanger Kit - Bolt On, item # RP58305, to bolt to your trailer frame at the point that you need the chain hangars to be.

Using the bolt on chain hanger requires you to use the trailers tongue jack to lift the truck and trailer at the same time to install the spring bar chains on the chain hanger.
