You can put a Fifth Wheel hitch on a 1994-2004 Dodge Dakota. Please check your vehicle owner manual to see what the tow capacities of the vehicle are. You can only tow as much as the lowest rated component of the system whether that is the fifth wheel or the vehicle.
I have included a link to a page with all the fifth wheels that will fit a Dodge Dakota. If you have a 6 foot bed you will need to choose a fifth wheel hitch with sliders.
