Is this kit a no drill item on a 2009 gmc 3500 long bed drw truck? Can this rail kit be installed without a lift?

Fifth Wheel install kit, part # 50064-6008, does not require any drilling of the vehicle frame. The mounting brackets use existing holes and U-bolts to attach to the frame. You will need to drill some holes in the bed of the truck to attach the rails to the brackets that are mounted to the frame of the truck. Any fifth wheel install kit will require drilling through the bed.
These kits can be installed without a lift. A lift just makes access easier and will cut down on install time, but it is not necessary.
We have a video of one of these kits being installed on a 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500 and it shows what has to be drilled. I will include a link to the video below.
