Question:
I want to get a hitch on my 96 jetta. If there is a diagram or install explanation to help me know what to drill and bolt to install a hitch it would help me greatly.

We have two different hitches available for your 1996 Volkswagen Jetta. Both hitches are very different, the Draw-Tite Class I Sportframe Receiver Hitch, part # 24594 would mount to the frame member, and would require drilling two holes, using the hitch as a template. The Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 11010 attaches to the trunk pan of the vehicle, and would require drilling 8 holes, and possibly trimming a small portion of the bumper fascia.Either hitch includes all necessary installation hardware, as well as instructions.
