Using a Frame Adapter, Part # 64005 To Secure Womens Bike To a Two Arm Bike Rack

How do you secure a girls bike on the Thule #912? Whst is the easiest 2 bike rack to carry a girls bike on a Yukon XL?

The best way to get a good fit with a rack such as the Thule Roadway, part TH912 would be to use a Frame Adapter for Hitch Bike Racks, such as part # 64005. One end would attach to the seat post of the bike, the other attaches to the handlebar gooseneck. The adapter provides an attachment point for the cradles on the bike rack.

This adapter would be handy to use for any two arm bike rack used to carry womens and girls bikes.

The Thule Roadway would be a great choice. I would also recommend the Rola TX-102 Two Bike Rack, part # 59400. The Rola rack has similar features as the Thule Roadway, with the addition of anti-sway cradles and an integrated cable lock to provide more security for the bikes.
