How Tall are the Cradles on the Swagman Trailhead Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Racks

Question:

Can you tell me the length of the anti-sway cradle on the Swagman Trailhead 4-bike rack? My bikes rear shock is mounted to the downtube, which leaves a limited length for the anti-sway cradle. My old Rola fit, but my new Yakima Doubledown does not.

I went out to the warehouse and pulled a Swagman Trailhead bike rack # S63380 to measure the cradle height for you. The overall height is 4-1/2 inches and the height at the center of the cradle is 3 inches. The cradles can move on the bike rack arms so you can turn them however you need to fit the bike. You can see in the pictures of the rack how some of the cradles are turned horizontal. You could always do that to better fit the bike.
