7-Way connector for a 2009 Subaru Forester

Question:

Can you acquire this with a 7 round out instead of a four flat just so I can charge my rv battery, no trailer brakes or reverse lights needed. Dont know if the subaru factory harness has another hot wire out for this?

To get the 7-way connector to the rear of your 2009 Subaru Forester you will need to use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, item # 118467, and then install the Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole, item # V30606.

When you install the Adapter you will have to wire a 12 volt power wire from the number 4 pole in the 7-Way, to the vehicle battery (see link). Use a 40 amp circuit breaker, item # PK54540, with 10 gauge wire to protect the trailer and vehicle.

We offer a Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit, item # ETBC7, that comes with everything needed to install all of the circuits on the 7-Way connector just in case you decide to upgrade in the future. If not just wire tie the extra wires up out of the way on the # V30606 adapter for future use if needed.
