Using the SportRack 2 Bike Wheel Mount Bike Rack with Womens U-Frame Bikes

Question:

Will this rack work on a U-frame bike. My wife has a Breezer Uptown 8.

The SportRack 2 Bike Hitch Mounted Rack with Wheel Mount Cradles, part # A30901 will without a doubt work with your wifes bike when used in conjunction with a Bike Rack Frame Adapter Bar, part # A34500. this bar would span the distance between the seat post and the handlebar gooseneck, providing a location for the ratcheting hold down hook to attach to.

The rack might work without the adapter bar, but by the looks of the bike, it appears that the down tube angle is pretty steep, and there would not be much frame for the hook to grab onto. I would recommend going with the frame adapter.
