Which friction sway control system would you recommend to use with a Reese Wieght Distributing Hitch System Model ## 66041? Trailer weight: 3500lbs. Tongue weight: 160 lbs. Fleetwood trailer w/ swing up jack.

The Reese Weight Distribution 350 Mini for Fleetwood and Jayco Trailers with Swing-Up Jacks, item # RP66041, has integrated sway control designed into the system and is not designed for the addition of friction sway control to your towing setup. This weight distribution system is an excellent choice for the Fleetwood and Jayco trailers.

If you are experiencing sway with the 350 Mini system hooked up then you most likely have an improperly loaded trailer. The solution in this case would be to move some weight forward in the trailer or remove some weight from the rear of the trailer to stabilize the trailer while towing.

Another possible cause is improper positioning or hookup of the spring bars or ball mount on the trailer. I would recommend that you go over the instructions (see link) and be sure you have the spring bars attached correctly and that your ball mount angle is correct for your setup.
