Question:
I am trying to wire up a 2006 chevrolet colorado to tow behind a motor home. I purchased a wiring connector and a connector with diodes no 489855. I think I also need and adapter to convert from three bulbs to two. I know I saw and read about what I need on your web site but I can not find it now. Can you help?

Expert Reply:
If your Colorado has separate turn signals and brake lights then you will need to use a Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter, item # 118158 or item # RM-732. We have a video that explains how to install the converter (see link). If your vehicles taillights and turn signals are in the same bulb then you will not need the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter with the item # 48955 Tail Light Isolating Diodes.
